This is the bike when I got it , it was all apart . It came with some new parts but I had to buy many of them , I had to source plastics for it wich was tricky but found a guy selling ufo plastics from Britain . eBay was definitely a big part of this build .

When I got it home I started the cleaning process and taking not of everything I needed . Also sandblasted my frame to be ready for powder coating .

Here are some pics of the frame after it was blasted , it has the name Joe Medina stamped in the frame . I did some research but found no info on the guy . I was intrigued by some of the parts on this bike like the aluminum tank , turns out it is a VRP tank ( Verona Racing Parts ) and was made in Italy . The bike had ufo plastics from Italy also . I noticed other retro parts on the bike like the notched front brake lever , aluminum radiator covers and an old rear brake rotor guard by enduro engineering . Also has a really cool looking fmf silencer . Here are some pics :

Very cool! Good luck with your build. I am building a 89 cr125 and am at the same point as you. Everything is apart and needs cleaning, painting, rebuilding.
Godspeed, sir!
