Different year pipes on 2004 CR125

I know I've seen some people putting 2003 pipes on 2004 CR125 by just flipping the bottom bracket or something to that effect.. But can you put a 2005 CR125 pipe on the 2004? Asking because the pipe I want for my 2004 is back ordered, but it is available for the 2005 model.

No, 2002-2004 on the front pipe fits, 2002-2007 on the silencer fits.... A 2005-2007 front pipe will not fit your 2004.

Thanks for that. I thought 2002/03 pipe would still work. Like I said, I thought people had done it before!

They are really good, nothing wrong with something other than FMF/PC. The Bud/HGS is a good pipe too.

I have a 03 and a 04 the pipes are interchangeable.. I just swapped my older fmf off my 03 straight on to the 04 with no modification necessary, it actually fits perfectly

She now wears a new fmf fatty and the 04 is using the older slightly rusty pipe which definitely performs better then the dented stocker..
