199 is the number my son was issued when he received his pro license. He gave it to Travis the following year when Travis turned pro.

Jmar would you mind letting me know who your son is? I do see you mention him a lot on here and not to get personal I am just curious I have been following moto forever it would be nice to know who he is. PLease don't take it as a personal thing i am just interested in knowledge

I dont know how long it would take Jim to find this thread and reply, so I thought I would. His sons name is Jacob Martin. He was a real fast Suzuki prospect for years, man I remember when he could barely touch on 80's and still hauled ass. Too many injuries finely took their toll, I think. Always ran number 139 from what I remember.

Jake is married now and is doing very well for himself and he just gave me and the wife our first grandchild.

Congrats, I used to always ride down in Oklahoma growing up watching Jacob, Johnny Marley and RR shred at motorcycle raceway and many other tracks. Glad to here he's doing well.
