I believe this is a Lamson helmet from years ago.

The one on the left was done by Dirt Paint Designs out of France, and I painted the other two. The Des nations replica was my first attempt and the ski show time replica was my third attempt at painting helmets, it's so tedious, but a lot of fun.

Ha, very cool. Got more patience than I do. They look good! I've got a couple new additions coming next week, I'll add once they're here.

It's badass but it's seen much better days. Had a painted fin that's missing, visor is cracked, chips etc. But it's literally the most metalflake I've seen on a helmet paint job, perhaps ever!

Take it outside for a picture so we can see the sparkle.

I remember those helmets though. The bikes helmets and tld gear looked so bad ass. I had the red and blue.

Yep that is the helmet. No sun here, garage LED’s will have to suffice. I don’t do it with any of my helmets, but this one may get the clear coat corrected to bring that pop back to it. Too pretty not to try anyway, quite a few scuffs and blemishes. I wish I could find more gear kicking around from early 2000’s. Best looking all around gear era IMO.

Got to love tape lines. Hard to find on anything these days, so much cookie cutter stuff now.

Nice, I bet they just did a white base and taped that off to do each color. There are ufo knock off versions of the Troy Lee stabilizer on eBay that you could buy to paint to match it.

I have red metal flake, but no yellow. I bet I could paint a stabilizer for you to match.

That would be pretty cool, but if you look here it’s not the standard TLD helmet fin. Looks like a shaved and molded piece. I can see where it was glued on and it’s larger as well. Shoot me a text (346)218-1852

I wish they would do a throw back version of that tld stuff. Actually a lot of stuff from that era would go hard today!

Nice I really like that Thor Chad Reed helmet. I’ve been trying to track one down of my own.

I know it man. Most of the stuff these days is all cookie cutter, boring stuff. I bet you'd be hard pressed to walk through the pits and find a custom painted helmet.
