What's the benefits from using race fuel?

I've been running the VP Ethanol Free Small Engine fuel(94 octane)in my 2007 CRF 450R mainly because it's ethanol free.I don't get to a track more than once a month and don't use more than a gallon(old,fat bastid)so the cost doesn't bother me that much,knowing that that damned ethanol isn't gumming things up while it sits here in the garage.Have been buying it online from ZORO,free shipping(and fast,on my front porch less that 24 hours after ordering).Just had a 20% off deal and got 2-5gal. cans for $144.Hate to pay $15 a gal. for ethanol free gas but can't find any at any CA pumps.

FYI, you should be able to get T4 for a little less. It's $65 for a 5 gallon can here.
I run it for the exact same reason as you're stating, no damned ethanol. I've cleaned out so many carbs for people because of that garbage. I hate ethanol more than I hate paying $15 per gallon to not deal with it.

I have a full can of T4 also bro,just haven't gotten around to running some yet.At first I was a little concerned about leaving it in the tank because it's oxygenated,but talked to a VP rep at the last Anaheim SX and he said it's only 3% and won't hurt anything(unlike MR12 that a lot of my friends racing Busas at the track use,have to get that stuff out or it really fouls shit up).I hear you on the carb thing,mine was a pain in the ass to start and took it back to Travis(TBT Racing)for a look see and he pulled it apart,thing was all gummed up.Starts now on the first kick cold most every time and runs great.
