Pretty funny when a Red Bull rider wins the million at the Monster Energy Cup. Red Bull is laughing their asses off right now.

The payout is insured. Monster (actually it's Feld that pays according to GuyB in another thread) didn't spend a million dollars and is probably happy to see someone get paid out instead of paying every year and nobody winning it. As far as Eli, I'm sure he's still glad he didn't go to MXdN. Good for him. His life, his decision. I hope he skips it again next year after all the crying and bitching from the so called "fans".

Even though he lost at the MEC, it was still cheaper than going to the MXoN. He actually came out ahead financially.

He never lost it because it wasn't his to begin with.

Came out ahead by suffering another concussion that could very well lead to shortening his race career?

I must have missed that press release on his concussion. Where is this posted? Post a link please.

Of course they are not going to come out and say it, but you could see he couldn't walk straight when he got up and then when the team manager comes out and says he's not racing anymore tonight because he hit his head, you can pretty much make your own conclusions...
