Okay , so i had another thread in moto related about being on the fence about what bike would suit me best for the time being ... concluded that a 125 would be adequate , this is it "Btw not my messy ass garage lolz"

So without further or do , i got the bike dirt cheap ... was told this and that blah blah blah , made an offer on the bike with taking into account that anything and everything can be wrong ...who knows what to believe .... didnt really pay much attention to what the supposed "mechanic" told the guy i bought it from....
Bike appears to have a new or " Newer " cylinder . i have not ran a compression test yet as it dosent run well and is leaking fuel like a sob as if it is flodding , was told something about "my mechanic" says its some o ring or gasket he was not sure...
Transmisson shifts from 1st to neutral then up again to 2nd then then shifts normally through all the gears
Not sure what is going on here ?? maybe just try new gear oil?
Clutch seems to have lots of play in the assembly outside the case...
Started it again when i got hope blipped the throttle and it immediately acted as if i gave it full throttle and and maxed the rpms .... didnt do this on the test ride??? wtf ...
Owell needless to say im not scared to crack the case i have barely any money tied up in it as it sits... any advice as to where to start first would be awesome!

For your clutch, make sure your cable is properly adjusted. If theres too much slack it can cause it to have a loose feel. Pull the cover off and look at your plates and springs for wear.
After that i would do a top end on it. This will give you the chance to look at the crank and cylinder. Also you will have fresh gaskets and that might fix your rev problem.
Clean the carb.
If you still have doubts about the motor just rebuild the whole thing. When i buy bikes in a condition like this one, a motor is first on the list. i dont like chancing worn parts i cant see or a shotty assembly job.
And if it's leaking fuel the float is probably not set right, which is also the same issue with the WFO throttle.
My guess is the kid did it himself and the carb is fucked.
The tranny probably needs different oil, if thay doesn't work, split the cases.
The Shop

Hopefully all goes well , Thanks

Complete carb kit , had to buy two separate kits to get everything for the pwk 36s
All new fluids
Complete top end kit with spare cylinder that needs a replate...
I also ordered a complete spare transmission from off of ebay ... incase this one is trashed...
So hopefully after the move this weekend I can tear into this thing , I may possibly create a build thread nothing cazy...
I was looking to purchase some aftermarket wheels having a hard time finding any information as to what will work / or what my options are just buying all the parts separately and such ... only information ive gotten is 1993-2002 kdx /kx wheels have the same axles and bearings...
Looking for something good aftermarket I guess I may have to do some kind of custom wheels .
