Heard today that our hometown racer Leighton Lillie got hurt pretty bad in Tulsa today anyone have any information on this?

I hope not!!! Leighton was riding gooood at red bulls compound about 2 weeks ago.

Not sure, but I do not see him in the heat races for tonight, which means he did not get inside the top 30 lap times. My assumption would be that he went down in the opening practice and never got a decent lap in before his crash.

There has to be someone there that can say for sure?

I heard that he broke his back and is in surgery right now paralyzed from waist down. Know one in tulsa have internet???

That would really suck! He was finding his groove as of late, making it into the mains, and putting up decent results for Team Babbitt's.

while we were in the lobby eating after getting back from the track we talked to the babbitts guys and they sais he is paralyzed from about mid chest down. this is bad news and thoughts and prayers are with his family. hopefully he can pull through this

Yes he did get hurt. I'm not 100% on the details so I'll leave it at that.
