I would imagine KTM and Suzuki are crunching the numbers hard right now. However, the KTM deal makes you wonder: Would he have to train with Aldon and the gang? Eli seems to like to have his own groove and freedom (which works) and I don't see him wanting the "KTM life" unless they make an exception for him. Right now it appears Kawi is giving him that and maybe more. Plus, does he get to run KYB on the KTM? Suzuki looks like they can let him do his own thing, but do they have the money that ME Kawi and KTM have? Plus...he would have to go through the , "Hey we have a great, redesigned bike for you Eli." Not saying it won't be any good...just sayin. Anyway...I imagine Eli is not signing with anyone until the last minute , ....as his asking price just keeps going up and up. But as a Kawi man...I'd like to see him stay. Smile

But ironically there is Trey again. However...I doubt Trey is pulling in what Dungey is. So it just makes me wonder..."Dungey...we pay you this and you do this for KTM now that Aldon is on board." But they might say , "Eli...keep doing what you are doing."

I think the way Eli is gelling with the Kawi right now its gonna take a stupid amount of money to get him away. I love seeing him on that Kawi, so I'd like him to stay. Just wish they would let him wear more than just green like he did in Indy. Not that his kit really matters. If Dungey retired I can see KTM going hard for Eli. It could get interesting. I like that Eli has his own training regimine but I wish he would ride with other riders so he can practice more of the feel of being surrpunded by other bikes and not always being able to take the best line. It would help him with his starts I think.
