Hey guys am pretty stumped here , I have the sff forks on my rmz 450 that I just bought and has fork seal leak, after taking apart the forks one side has a spring and the other side nothing, since being my first with the sff fork is there supposed to be oil in the inner chamber that has no spring? I ordered a manual on line just hasent arrived yet.

on a 2011 KX its takes a small amount of oil just to stop things from binding up but no inner chamber.

nope that's where its supposed to be. I cant remember off the top of my head how oil it supposed to be but its not much at all. when you take the other side apart take it nice slow. the valve assembly will have a lot of resistance then it will break loose and you will have oil fly up in the air and land on your head.... or ummm so I heard..

Yeah I have the other side out already , thinking about the race tech gold valves , just really want the suspension to perform well, also on the fence about revalve the rear or buy ohlins rear shock.

lots of options with the SFF makes it easy and pretty affordable. Most places will sell you a whole new assembly for the valve side drop it an and your all set.
FCR is the one im gonna go with.

I found a set of drop in cartridges that are ohlins just would rather spend the money on a ohlins rear shock.

I have SFF forks on my 13 RMZ....I couldnt hang on to that bitch, it was so dang harsh....Im pretty sure i have wrist damage from that scarey xxxucker...I tried oil levels and all that but couldnt make it work..I sent it to factory connection and they made both ends work great..When i sent them in for 2nd time last spring they were on the 3rd Generation of settings for that settup...It is extrememly awesome... and plush with plenty of backbone for my fattass...The biggest thing is that they are totally predictable in braking bumps and square edge stuff..I definately dont have to worry obout my hands getting yanked from the bars if i dont have a death grip on them..
