2016- 8 Riders
2015- 5 Riders
2014- 5 Riders

It really is a war of attrition, also the top 3/4 Riders almost always finish all rounds. Just finishing supercross without injury is a feat in itself.

If you're thinking it's all due to injuries...?

Last year you had "Boxing Penalties" adding that list.
Team decisions...
And failure to make the Main.

My point being that if you can make it through unhurt, unpenalized and fast enough to make the main you are guaranteed a top 10 spot,

Or...if you can get one of those early replacement jobs...
Well, that can work out, too!

No guarantees, but your point is well taken. Attrition is huge. Why isn't Anderson on the 2015, and 2014 lists? He's never been injured until this year. A number of riders may not have competed in every single race, but it's not all injury related. A few guys are always thinking about the outdoors at the end of SX, and may be ducking out of class a little early.

Anderson didn't compete in 2014, he was in the 250 class. 2015 he didn't score points at Vegas.

Gotcha. Maybe with the new timed mains the tracks will be a little safer by not having to tightly wind a long, narrow track inside a relatively small stadium. There is very little room for any rider error in Supercross.

With Dungey and Anderson both missing time in 2016, who is the new ironman? Who has competed in the most consecutive 450 pro races, SX and MX? It's gotta be Roczen...no?
