I'm not a big fan of the piling on of fighters after they lose. Fighting is about as venerable as it gets in all of sports. You get in there, in front of everyone, and take on your opponent. You might win, you might get your ass kicked. Hell, you might win and still get your ass kicked. It takes guts to do it and I respect every single one of them that does it, even if I don't particularly care for them as a person. It's kind of lame to see people mock fighters when they know well and good they don't have the balls to get in there and do it themselves. I get it, it comes with the territory. But I still think it's lame.
I agree and know first hand. I train with alot of local level fighters, and a couple of national fighters. Anything can happen on any night. Rousey's fight could have easily gone the other way.

Pretty sure the paycheck will ease the pain, if some internet comments hurt their feelings, time for a new job or log off social media.

I'm speaking more on how lame it is for the people doing the mocking, not necessarily whether it bothers the fighter or not

Now somebody needs to put the blabbering British champ back in his place. He beat Rockhold fair and square, on short notice to boot, but has more questionable decision wins than any other fighter in the sport, past or present. He' so obnoxious in and out of the ring and just as bad as a commentator. I'm sure some of you think differently, to each their own.
I cant stand Biskook either.

Cody and I grew up in the same town. I've known him since he's been a kid and proud to call him my friend. Regardless of how he's been portrayed thus far, he's as solid as they come, has a HUGE heart, and is a very very loyal individual. When he says he's bread to fight and that's all he knows, that's realville and nothing but the truth. He comes from a long bloodline of bad mofos that have never taken any shit, ever. Cody is a freak athlete, mean and driven as they come. He was an all Ohio middle linebacker at 140 lbs while also returning multiple kickoffs for TDS & was a freshman state champ, sophmore runner up in wrestling. This was the same time he started boxing and his final two years of wrestling didn't pan out. He was the only wrestler that could've started on the basketball team, he was that gifted. I went to a college wrestling match with him when he was a sophomore in highschool and he was focused so far ahead on his future it blew me away. One was boxing, the other was fighting in the UFC, and he was being recruited to wrestle D1 by then. So crazy to look back on that and see the different stages he went through in life and to see the man he developed into. Here he is a world champion at 25 years old! I'm extremely proud of the man he's became and very excited to watch him build a legacy as a world class MMA fighter.

As far as Rousey, all have to say is WOW. A year ago she attempts to stand with a boxer and gets embarrassed. Embarrassed to the point that she goes into hiding and eventually comes out and says she considered suicide. Well she didn't learn her lesson or her ego got the best of her because she did the same damn thing, only to get dismantled in 48 seconds. Take your money and run, retire!
