I read an article on mx Vice where it was mentioned a few days ago. They said it might consist of a rider who rode Honda this year(Cervellin?) And the other guy was involved in one of the biggest controverses this year. I can't figure this one out. Anyone with more info about this?

Maybe we can add Tonkov to the controversy list? He is too old for mx2 though.

Julien Lieber probably doesn't have a ride until now. Would be a risky move, he could be great or the opposite, who knows?
Julien Lieber from what i've heard has a good financial base behind him at home and would even consider doing a full year of GP's by himself. He did that in the beginning of his career too, along with his brother.
But that same controversy rules him out of riding at all in 2017 so they can't be talking about him.
Honda will "re-boot" their GP MX2 effort in '18 with 2 riders on an HRC Directly Managed Team
Team Martin will be in charge of the operations.
