Hello,
I am coming to LA for 8 days, spending a day riding at GH and planning on trying to see some practice SX tracks in corona. I guess any day of the week would be good for these but are there any specific days that pro's prefer at Milestone etc? And are there any other more public practice tracks that would be worth going to?
I know they are a fair drive from Santa Monica where I'm staying so I want to make it worth the drive.
Thanks!

Sometimes when your at Glen Helen the PC guys are riding their track thats right behind the big Taladega 1st turn.
The Kawi track is right next to the freeway in Corona, I always forgot which one. I've seen them there a few times.
Tuesday - Pala
Wednesday - Milestone
Like CarlinoJoe said there is the PC track at Glen Helen and also the tracks in Corona, not sure when they ride there though.
I'd say your best bet is to show up to Milestone at 930 on a Wednesday.
I have seen a bunch of pros at Milestone all days of the week but less so in weekends because it's crowded. Best times would be from opening to about 3PM during the week. In past years they would rent a supercross track out back to either a team or group of riders and you can easily watch them ride

We get to California, once a year normally stay in Buena Park area, as it is more central, to get to MX tracks etc.
Santa Monica is very touristy, and relatively expensive.
Flick me an email, if you want more info on MX stuff to do.
