Now that ive had 4 weekends in a row at CalcityMx im gonna put this out there...their isnt a single track in Socal that can deliver the type of terrian that Calcity can....i can say this cause i spend 3day aweek riding and going to all the tracks ....this place needs to showcase itself to the Socal moto seen....THIS IS FACT! Best prep...and dirt you will ride no disputing it....the other tracks have small windows where the track gets good....this place stays PRIME all day.....its the perfect terrian for 2strokes, we all know how much 2strokes love loam....this is the track that u could have a solid battle of the (STROKES).....where the harderpack conditions that develope thru out Socal, the 4stroke for most people has the advantage, the previous weekend saturday before the race i was able to put it down on my yz250 and had the traction to let the 2stroke shine......their was 1guy who id say was a soild B rider on a kawi450 and i gave nothing up to him for most of the day....i was just riding in a comfort zone of 65%..not pushing, more or less just seeing the performance of his sick new kawi(i ride yamis) i ride all the bikes and have a suspension background...and what i witnessed was the only factor was the dirt......the loam that you dont see very long in Socal was there all day!...it proved to me that this Calcity track has something much differant to offer......this place needs to do a big 2stroke race....and get help from fellow riders.....go ride this place and see what im taking about....u wont be able to stop thinking about this place....the loamy ruts....the variety of obstacles...it has a nice little pro stand...tubes/rimlocks/levers/oils....a dirt starting gate......i myself am gonna try to help CalCity cause his effort and prep is 2nd to none.....go ride it 1time you will be hooked!

I totally agree with all the positives of the Cal City track and Johns commitment to his great prep. I've been going there before he opened to the public and gave witnessed the changes over the years. When the track was first built, John hired the guy who was in charge of Perris Raceway. John has learned how to keep the track flowing and provide big jumps without a do-or-die.

Although.... Zaca Station has incredible dirt as well and LACR has to be mentioned when talking about great dirt.

How far is the drive from Vegas?

I have had to take about a year off from riding since I moved from Reno last year and I am about to get back at it and want to ride as much as I can again now that I am almost back into race shape again!

I couldn't read it. That post might win the award for worst run-on paragraph on the forum. What happened to basic grammar from first grade? Dry

As for the track, I'll have to go up and give it a try one of these days. I rarely drive three hours each-way to ride though.

How about somewhere with some hills. I've never ridden ccmx but it looks on par with cahuilla

I created a Vital account just to agree how awesome the the and track prep at Cal City was yesterday. I don't go there often but every time i do I'm blown away. I'm still not sure how they get that kind of dirt in the middle of the desert and nobody else in SoCal can pull it off.

While it "might" be loamy in the morning (highly doubtful), I have a hard time believing it stays "prime" all day...in the middle of the desert. How about some gopro footage or something?

I'm guessing you've never ridden at Zaca. If you had you wouldn't be writing poorly crafted paragraphs about how CalCityMX is the best track in SoCal. (You'd probably be doing that about Zaca.) haha

Glad you had fun at CalCityMX but let's keep everything in perspective.
