Well i thought i dodged the infamous bullet with my 14' 450 frame....noticed at the end of the day after doing motos on the main at PalaMx....they definitly steepend up the faces while they were getting their Sx track dialed in......last couple weeks were alittle outside the normal outdoor prep....just a few over jumps think did the number on the frame......seen many early 2015s crack...no 14's....no16's.....thankfully i was able to get a updated new replacement ...will get it friday....this year ive seen 3 new ktm frames crack...2 hondas...and about 10 yamaha....no kawi or suzuki ive come across as of yet....(guess we all need new frame builders)....sorry had to throw that one in their, some may get it....anyways wondering if again the hardpack Socal dirt is just harder on everything....never seen much of this kinda stuff growing up in florida.....the tracks in Cali are amazing uptil about 11a.m they are abit softer due to the moisture and prep....then they get baked hard as a rock......my suspension is by GreameBrough, doesnt get much better then a true factory showa&kyb tech for 30yrs....ive read alot of forums on the issues but they all were kinda short lived....just wondering what some riders from across the country have seen..or experienced themselves......
Something with the frame not flexing or something had to be issue because when they crack it's all in the exact same spot.
We all got ours replaced.
