A PC replica without a PC exhaust? Seriously?
Wink
Quite nice, otherwise.

Patience, I've been looking for a good used one to put on there. I can't justify a new one. TB12.

Back to the anodizing for a second. The parts you brought them where cast. Very hard to anodize cast in anything except for type III Hard coat anodizing which comes only 2-3 colors one being a magnesium/bronze color. I am guessing maybe they didn't do type III, but I don't know why they wouldn't as it doesn't really require any different tools/supplies.

I have machined and polished OEM hubs that where actually powdercoated with anodized red, and you can't tell the difference in when next to a anodized set of billet hubs (color and contrast, not the machine work obviously). Amazing whats coming out in the powdercoating industry. Granted becomes and issue on parts that have clearance's that need to be maintained. FYI Hubs have not started chipping and had them going for 2 almost 3 seasons.

I had major issues with a Anodizing company up here in MN when converting my KX450f to a white/red setup. I gave them billet parts and even what type of billet aluminum and they screwed them up. I have now since found a great company in WI that gets it right every time and I don't even have to figure out the type of aluminum when doing colors. Cast again, can usually only be done in black/gold/silver variants.

Clearly S&S Anodizing knew you had that Brady poster hanging in your garage

If you do find one you should have it cut down to match the factory bikes from 06-07 the PC exhaust on those were super short.

Mate,

That thing looks sick and I love the idea of it sitting in a bar room or man cave, atleast with no engine internals, you cant get drunk and smoke out the shed!

Awesome build man! I am definitely going to have to do a man cave replica once I have a bigger place.

The bike is ready for moving day. She's looking forward to her permanent spot in the basement next to the bar.
