Anonymous police threat in Dallas not related to shooting 2 days ago

Just a few blocks away from where the police were shot two days ago, there has been an anonymous threat called in. Swat and police looking for a "suspicious person" in the parking lot. Not sure what that means. They're searching a parking garage. This seems like a more serious threat than the typical anonymous threat is.

This is madness. It's a little more real when it hits so close to home. To mount to the problems, Dallas police are paid significantly lower than officers in other equivalently populated cities.

I hope you're right, but the way the police are acting and the way they're handling it, it seems to be a more serious and specific threat. They're searching a parking structure and police are hiding behind trees and vehicles all hiding from a specific direction.

I'm sure there is some young men who spent some time in the sand box looking for bad guys through the scope of a rifle ,if thugs wanna be thugs then maybe its time to hire some trained talent to weed out the "tough" guys.

The news said that buffalo police received threats after the shootings . I'm guessing police stations all over the country received threats .

They're saying two employees ran across a person in the parking garage with a mask on or some sort of goggles or gas mask. The reporting on that is somewhat shoddy. How do you not recognize goggles or a mask. And you know a gas mask when you see one. Now the news is speculating that it might have been an undercover officer coming in.

Theyve asked the news not to record what the officers are doing and the media are complying with their request.

No kidding. Talk about a waste of resources if it's a phony threat. Hopefully they find the threat and deal with it. They're having a memorial today for the fallen officers and its within a block or two of the threat. They're not moving them back or treating them like they're in harms way. What kind of fucker can't give family and friends time to mourn and show respect.

talking with my next door neighbor today...he is in the police academy. He said yep things are messed up he said they took the address off of the academy website today..I said..huh?..don't you think they can find out where it is easily?.. His instructors are now carrying during exercises. He is said his instructors said the cops should have been able to disarm the guy outside the convenience store?..I said sure...that happens to you you better shoot the guy..better to be judged by 12 then carried by 6....He is a good guy ex army combat vet, but a little guy...he is not gonna be taking down,disarming/cuffing a angry guy outweighing him by 50 lbs, at least not easily.
On that note he is military so I asked him about the EOD robots, He said he used them was certified to used the in afghanistan, iraq...he said they move pretty fast.
