Love seeing the pictures of all the collections. Here's a picture of some of mine. It's grown a bit but this is the only photo I have on the cpu. Collecting without any connections isn't very easy at all unless you have bottomless pockets. I couldn't agree more with some of the older comments on here about gear being "fair market value". RC and Dungey race worn pants and jerseys will sit on ebay for a year with a buy it now price of $1500-$5000 and never sell. Tons of fans are given gear at races, see these figures, and immediately assume they are selling for this price. These same items could be auctioned for a benefit and exceed $5k no problem. If there's a jersey on ebay that keeps getting relisted for months, I usually shoot them a message offering them a pretty fair price and an honest opinion of what it might sell for. In return I usually get the reply "Keep dreaming.....A set of this gear is worth $5k.....I seen it sell for that." It can get frustrating when you know some items you'd really like hanging on the wall is probably in the corner of someones closet, forgottten about because it never sold for a million dollars. Your best bet is finding a jersey on ebay that's listed as an auction. Seen a lot of nice jerseys go for pretty cheap including a Carmichael Splitfire Unadilla worn rookie jersey. It went for around $200.

I have 4 Justin Hill jerseys and 4 pants now which I paid dirt cheap for. They were listed forever with no buyers. The most recent "R2R Benefit Auction" on Ebay they had 2 Justin Hill Jerseys and they went for $350+ a piece. While there was an unsigned race worn Justin Hill jersey that sold for $20 that got overlooked. Benefits are always for a good cause. That gap in pricing is almost unbelievable.

This is the other JT jersey I have. Doesn't have the name/number on the back, but its got a nice dirt/blood stain near the bottom left side of the jersey.

So they are not the greatest pictures but this is what I have. The RV stuff all belongs to my wife. She acquired it all on her own and the Reed stuff and Hahn jerseys are mine. Everything I have was personally given to us which makes every peice a prized possession =)

I've gotten most of my stuff from Ebay. I also keep my eye out on racerx, transworld, websites for any benefit or charity auctions going on. Occasionally you can find some gems in "the bazaar" forum on here. I only make a few purchases a year, going on 10 years now, cuz it's hard to find a fair deal on a jersey.

Josh Grant jersey, multiple sets of Alessi gear and Nico Izzi Jersey were all personally given to me, completely unexpected. Funny story behind each of those.
