2006 crf ohlins on 2015 crf caliper issue

Need some help here!

Bought an ohlins fork off an 2006 crf 250, dirt-cheap! And before I put it on my 125 I'm gonna try it on my 2015 crf 250.

The caliper-carrier fits on the fork, but the 15 crf got a 260 front disc, and the 2006 got a 240mm, so the caliper hits the disc and don't fit.

The easiest thing would probably be to just buy a 270mm oversize rotor kit for the 2006 crf with bracket, and that would be a straight swap since the discs got the same mounting holes.

But I got 3 sets of front wheels, with 3 sets of good discs..

So my main question would be:

Does anyone know if I can get a caliper carrier that would match up to a 260mm disc?

I couldn't find one anywhere, only 270.

I bought a braking 270mm bracket to see how it bolts up, don't know until the weekend tough.

That's what I have bought to try with, but it is for 270mm.

Will update this evening if I have it at home tonight.Smile

Can you run the 260 disc

So, that did NOT work, bracket bolts up nice, but it does not use the full brake pads, it's missing the last 5mm a 270 disc would fix.

I'll order 270 discs tomorrow.
