The peak hp on a 2016 Ktm 150 is 40hp... That's more ponies than half the 250Fs out there if your riding it to its potential which leaves a YZ 125 feeling like a Supermini in comparison. The KTM used to handle horribly and not turn well. The new frame on the KTM can turn circles around the YZ. The YZ forks out of the box are better than the 4cs but that can be handled with a great tuner like Billy at Powerband. The AER 48 is coming stock on the bike next year and is a really good fork from my understanding with some friends that have already tested them as well as Billy's feedback. However the current shock is much better than anything out there right now including the Yami KYB. I have not heard much feedback on the new KTM shock yet.

I am normally a Kawi or Honda guy. I always hated the way the Yamaha turned as it's always had an ackward feel to me. KTM used to be horrible to me as well... But the new frames on the KTMs are second to none.

I think anyone would fall in love with the 2016 KTM 150!

Ha ha . Just like the husky 125 claims 40 hp. Give me a fucking break. Cant wait til I see one on the dyno and it will be at sealevel air too for max hp.if ktm gets the forks figured out for 17 id wait too. We have a 15 yz 125 with vortrx and a pipe and silencer.I really wanted to pull the trigger on a ktm since we just got off ktm 85s. Both are good bikes.

Actually Dynos can certainly vary. What was good about these dyno results were that they were all done by transworld as a good comparison to the 250fs. It doesn't say that it was done by the same dyno, however I doubt that they were running around using random Dynos for their testing. I didn't see the dyno results of the husky 125 but I doubt 40. The airbox configuration limits airflow... I do t think it could hit 40 without some work. I'm talking about a stock bike out of the crate and the 150 could certainly get 40 when a good Supermini is 32-34hp depending on the dyno.

Needless to say I was given bad info from my contact at Yamaha.

I questioned the info yesterday when I saw the 17 bikes.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned waiting for the 2021 GasGas electric bikes to come out. I have an electric motor in my dishwasher and I fucking love it.
