Looking at the qualifying results I didn't see Darian nor Thomas listed. Covington injured?

Sanayei just finished moto 1 of the EMX250 class, finishing in 6th.

Covington is injured.

I thought I remember reading Thomas hurt his ankle or wrist... Can't remember where I read it though.

Hurt his ankle earlier this spring and wrist in Mexico.

Sanayei looks much better than he did at Valkenswaard - he was pretty solid in all the sessions today.

Covington is injured, as others have said, and will be out for a little bit. He broke his ankle before round three, but was pushing through the pain and racing each weekend, but then injured his hand in Mexico. He's flying back to the USA on Tuesday to see his doctor and could be back in two weeks, but I suspect we won't see him again until the end of the month.
