Hi guys, I just rebuilt my 06 kx125 as the crank bearing seized a few months ago and would like to know if theres anything I should do/not do when starting it for the first time. When I get home all I need to do is fill up the radiators, gearbox oil and torque the forks and clutch cover. But after that can I just crank it up and ride her in? And whats the general consensus on riding in a new top end and crank?
All we did on the engine was new piston ring, repair power valves, new crank and rod.
This is my first rebuild so dont want to break anything too soon. Here's a little before and after (still a few finishing touches to go)
