Hi,
I have been reading through my old 90's mx mags,
As im currently restoring a 92 RM 125.
And a lot of tuners of that era were using a
38mm TMS carb as part of the tuning of this bike, and received a lot if good reviews.

Obviously now there are many newer options available for all 2 strokes.

So what do you all advise as the best carb upgrade for a 92-RM 125
Thanks in advance

I just switched out a Keihin PJ for a Keihin PWK Airstriker on a 1992 CR250 and it rips!

I would ask barkhard696, I know he has a RM as well. He's got a wealth of knowledge on this subject, and helped me out big time.

I recently upgraded from 36mm to 38mm Mikuni. I followed Suzuki Factory tuning guide. Works very well.

The video is tilted but the bike runs great and revs like mad. Smile

Also Boyesen Rad Valve installed in the video.

Btw. looking for second hand Boyesen Super Bowl for Mikuni 38mm TM carb. The carburetor is originally from 1990 model RM250. I newer knew that it is even possible to use 250cc carb in 125 bike until I read the article.

Did you end up turning down the bell of the 38mm carb, or did it just mount right up?

And btw, we need a video of you ripping through the gears on that bad boy! Preferably on dirt. I can post a demonstration video if you need. Cool

... And Olli, what's the deal with the case bolt holding down the shifter? Is it in a hole or just balancing there??? Please explain. It's driving me nuts. LOL.
