if they had any balls....they would throw them on the table and find out that the ama has no hammer to smack them with.....but as already stated, the riders have no balls for business!

MX Sports is the Owner of the series and there is no AMA except as a Title Plate as a courtesy to the AMA Tradition. MX Sports calls the shots just as Feld did in SX. The riders have a right to stand up for their saftey and other concerns.

false, it is a AMA series ran by mxsports
The AMA is MX Sports. I believe MX Sports approves all pro license for the AMA and they run Amatuer MX. So I would have to say that DC pretty much tells the AMA hows things are going to go which in turn lets him play both sides of the fence.

Its a win win for DC and MX Sports. They can do no wrong. The dude knows how to play the game.

I doubt anything gets started , seems like the riders dont have the know how or balls to get it done. Just look at the gp guys no purse money how sad is that. I hope GL can get a riders safety committee atleast out of this. Too many going down in the sport.

Grant and Reed and others have already made progress even if they never name their organization.

DC is listening and willing to work with them. And the Dirt Wurx guy's and the promoter all had talks with riders. And this will continue.

You won't see pointless sections and steep landings in turns. That much we know for sure.

The riders should be able to approve the race tracks for safety.

Thats' all they've asked for and I support them.

It comes down to this. Will the Big Guns sacrifice for whats best for ALL the riders or will they pull a Emig and race even if the track is dangerous?.

IMO every name rider would pull a Emig and line up at the gate if Feld or MX Sports says race the track or go home.

i have worked in a union atomsphere for many years in manufacturing and the biggest strength that any union or association has is "Solidarity". if you can get all the riders to unite together and stand strong, then you have something to build upon. if just one person succumbs to the pressure of breaking ranks then the strength is dimished. if all the riders stand tall and strong then they have the power to change the problems. that is a big "IF"...call it a Union or an Association, doesnt matter which, the key is standing united together for the common good of all...just my opinion...

I think the main target of this particular "movement" is Feld/FIM etc, not MXSports.

Its not like this is some new, inovative concept. Moto GP already has something similar in place. I'm sure Nickey Hayden or Collin Edwards would be willing give some insight. Especially since Collin was a moto guy before he was a road racer.

They are all tied together one way or another.
