Bike Bandit lists the 38 tooth as the first one on the OEM list it has been my experience that usually the one they list first on their fiche is the stock size.

you will need to find a dealer that has the printed parts books... if you have a local dealer they may be able to still order the books. you will need both...engine and chassis. the books came with the bike at the time of purchase.

or try KTM World dotcom...they have my old books. or did have them at one time when they purchased the dealership from my parents.

i think it's listed in the back of the book with all of the stock settings...carburetor jettting etc...sorry it's been a few brain cells ago since i have looked at one o them there books.
