TV is interesting. You take about 20 hours of video a week and cut it down to 22 minutes and 25 seconds for a finished product.

2005 was our best season. Winning Heat races, podiums in the Mains, and top 2 Honda's overall in the 125 East Series. The TV series was OK.

2006 was a disaster. Everyone knows the story in the 450 class. Boniface became our only hope for a decent finish. He was in great shape and running fast, and then broke his clavicle leading the Main in the second round. But people loved the drama of the TV show. Stewart kept coming up to Lucky at races yelling "I'm just riding for the paycheck."

I would rather have a great season and no television.

Since Holigan won't spam his new venture, Merge Racing Technologies, I'll do it for him. I'm currently running Merge suspension on my new '08 CRF450 and it's the best stuff I've ever ridden with. Greg Swirinski is a tech at Merge and it was the suspension from his old CRF. Now I know why Kyle Regal was running Merge suspension on his '08 CRF450. Good stuff.

I just got a new 09 KX450 that I'm going to ride for two weekends then haul it 5 hours to the Merge Racing Headquarters and drop it off to have Greg revalve my suspension. Then a few weeks later I'm driving another 5 hours to go pick it up. Alot of folks here in Texas swear by them and one of my close friends just had his 09 KX 450 done by Greg and he said the difference is amazing. So, they've got my business from that alone, then seeing how well Kyle Regal has been doing just reinforces the belief that Merge has it going on.

Lucky has a pretty cool tool that he came up with but I believe he is still in the patent process. Jim and I found out that when you invent something and apply for a patent other companies can Ripoff & Duplicate your design and there is nothing you can do until you are granted your patent. I think Lucky is smart to wait until he has a patent in hand.

I have not seen Justin since TLD. Your right, he was killing it on the 250 two-stroke at Indy. He was going to pass Voss and win his Semi until he realized he was going to pass Voss and win the Semi. Lots of potential, but don't know where he is.

Yes Ozzy, it is in the blood. I have approached eleven companies this year, and had three tell me that they think this is something they want to do in 2010, but then later say "we can't because of the economy." I have one more that looks good. We are meeting in two weeks to see if we can work through terms. In the past I would have said we will get it done, but nowdays I cannot tell if it will happen or not. Fingers crossed.

Mike, that is great news!
I hope you can pull it off.
