Rumours that James Stewart has made a team switch are pre-mature. It's just too early.
His Kawi contract has a time window in which he can start negotiating, and that time is approaching but hasn't happened yet. That means he can't sign anything this early. Signed offers go back to Kawi anyway for right-of-refusal, and none of this has had a chance to happen yet. That means the rumours can't be true.
Of course one team that will want him is Joe Gibbs Racing, whose business manager was Stewart's manager before - David Evans. He wrote the contract Stewart is on now, so he knows the time limits too and knows the process can't start yet.
