A little too much slow-mo for me, at least when I watch amateurs I like to see the raw speed they really have. I like more slow-mo when I watch the pros ride.

Was someone playing Pac Man while you were editing?? Video was cool, but the Pac Man noise was annoying.

I would like to use that stuff- but we don't have the music rights.

"nice vid. What camera and editing software are you using?"

I use a Panasonic HVX camera, and Apple Final Cut Pro.

"I take it you are a Gorillaz fan as well?"

Yes- for sure. Did you see the "Gorillaz- Live in Harlem" on one of the HD channels? It was really good, and well shot also.

Best Music Video ever imho.

The Dirty Harry track "All I wanna do is Dance" with the kids singing was magic.

Really, relax. I just watched you edit and remove your post about 4 times. It really shouldn't be that big of a deal.

If an occasional critical post is such a problem for you, maybe you should refrain from putting stuff on display, or else steer clear of message-boardery altogether, where fragile egos might get crushed. Or maybe you just think that you and your work are above reproach, and, unlike everyone else, shouldn't have a contrary post ever sent your way. Judging by the way you handled others' opinions, that's probably pretty close.

Maybe the real reason some industry people don't post is they can't take any critisism at all. He was just saying what he didn't like about it, no big deal. It was ok, I like the faster paced stuff though.

Of course I like the Gorillaz! Handsome Boy Modeling School make some great beats, and work with some cool artists. Check them out too. Hip hop, rock, metal, indie rock, stoner rock, classic rock, so much music out there that needs to be heard. That's too bad Cudby, about the music rights, but you always hook it up with something good.

Looks like you were paying too much attention also!
I don't mind criticism, as you can see from other posters who made comments. I really do listen and try and produce something that people want to watch. Going back to your original post- you have a point, and I guess I did over-react to your comment. But also remember- this stuff is free, and I spent my Sunday out there at a race trying to document a cool event.
Anyways, time to move on to something else...

Your eye with a camera is awesome! I love your work. The only thing that got annoying in that video was the looping beat but that isn't your fault. Regardless, great work and keep posting!

Everyone has their own feeling toward any video out there.
There are so many ways to do a video that one such style won't please everyone.
It's on my mind every time when I do a video.
"Is the music too harsh? Too fast? Too slow?"
"Should I be showing this rider/section more often or not at all?"
"Will Eggers bash me again and again for using this type of music?"
All of these things come into play, in trying to please everyone..but that is very near to impossible.
While I try to provide a quality video, I do my best to make it attractive and have you watch the entire length of the video. Some constructive criticism from you can help you.............the viewer.

Now I understand that people have different opinions. That's fine. If you see something you don't like much and want to reveal to the whole world about, that's fine by me. I take whatever I can in and put out something you may either like or dislike......over and over again....it's a never ending cycle.

I mean, c'mon, when I post videos at RonRon, the people that are on there are more mature by responding with either supportive or constructive criticisms. Like at RonRon, they will either share tips or ideas at times or even links to other sites for more information. Here it's like a lil' kid picking out his favorite candy...."I like that one!"......"NO NO NO, I don't like."

Overall, not every video will please everyone.
Hell, sometimes I'm not pleased with my own videos and I make them, just to please these "skeptics and bashful critics" out there from time to time. These critics are just different opinions. And people are different. And that's the bottom line.

BTW, Cudby, good work on the Perris video. I was able to watch the entire video with pure enjoyment!
