They are thanking Jesus and that's the first step brother. Never judge where a person is in their walk with Jesus. God works in every individual's life and for some it starts out thanking Jesus. Then another small step and another.

i didnt judge anyone i asked how many know what a bible looks like....you cant thank someone you dont know!
(2 timothy 2:15) Do your utmost to present yourself approved to God, a workman with nothing to be ashamed of, handling the word of the truth aright
(matthew 7:21) “Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will. 22 Many will say to me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?’ 23 And yet then I will confess to them: I never knew YOU! Get away from me, YOU workers of lawlessness.

You are right man! Sorry for jumping to conclusions.

well no shit, has nothing to do with what I'm saying though
the announcers kept saying he had lead every lap of his career though, including the heats
from racerx
[quote:3ddcc4qw]
Canard opened the night by leading all six laps in his heat race then led all 15 laps of the main event. In boxing terms, he’s undefeated. He’s even won every $1,000 Progressive Holeshot Award in his career.[/quote:3ddcc4qw]
this is the crap I'm talking about, and the webcast announcers mentioned it about 20 times too, but they were wrong
I have been good friends with trey since I was 12 and I will be the first of many to tell you that he is a devout Christian. He goes to church every Sunday even when we raced all the amateur races over the years we would find somewhere on the way back home from the track to stop and worship. He is letting his light shine and I think he is having a great impact on those around him. Yes, I understand that a lot of those guys that thank God on the podium are not walking the walk.. but I can assure you Trey is not one of those.
