First off.. I've got to agree with DC on cutting anaheim 3 and making it into an atlanta 2.
Also larry b (just as an example since he was quoted), and some other team managers in an interview, said that they are not sure that they are interested in international supercross. I was shocked to read those statements. For example, Wasn't Larry complaining about Reedy getting no television time a while back in the nationals? Everyone talks about how important Television is in our sport. I think the move to more international rounds would attract television packages, and make the sport more global for sure. When team managers say their sponsors are more focused locally in the states, and that suzuki or yamaha japan won't fund their international racing, what does it matter when international racing may bring a better tv package. Doesn't TV attract their sponsor money to begin with. Doesn't everyone win?

Let's see...There's a few football games. like Miami played in London...the Orlando Magic and I think Cleveland played in China a few months ago...Nascar races in Mexico and has plans to do some in Canada and overseas, CART had overseas races...Baseball has games out of the country, Canada too!

2 out of how many football games? How many times a year does Nascar race in Mexico? My point was often. All sports do a little bit of overseas but not frequently. It makes sense for Supercross to go overseas a few times a season, but to have a world championship would be a bad idea IMO.
It doesn't matter where they hold a race. If TV wants to cover it. It will bring sponsorship dollars.

Explain why tv would want to cover a race in Beijing instead of anaheim
Alot of that has to do with the economy for one. Also riders in the supercross class are required to purchase an FIM license and and AMA license.. That added to the cost of racing this year. Throw fuel to get to the races in there also.. and you have a fairly empty gate. Theres also alot of injuries right now. Count those riders and that would fill your gate as well.
