Turkey is saying that one of the terrorists who blow himself up in a airport was arrested in Turkey near the boarder with Syria last year. Turkey was sure he was an ISIS fighter. Since he was from Belgium,Turkey deported him to Belgium. Belgian authorities let him go.
That`s what I just read.

Did they give him bullet money upon his return? A knife sharpener?
I just don't understand people that have no instinct to survive.

Not totally true. It seems the Turkish police arrested him and put him out of the country. They asked him wich country he wanted to go to (it seems he has that right) and he said The Netherlands. From there he moved to Belgium. It's not like the Turkish police handed him over to the Belgian police and said "Here's a muslim extremist, take care."

''On Wednesday, Turkish authorities said one of the Brussels suicide attackers, Ibrahim El Bakraoui, was caught last June near the Syrian border and deported to the Netherlands, with Ankara warning Dutch and Belgian officials that he was a "foreign terrorist fighter." But he was released from Dutch custody due to lack of evidence of involvement in extremism"

Two explosions reported today as well as guns fired during police operation in Brusseles.
Also, there are reports that a guy seen next to a guy who blew himself up at the metro has been arrested.
I don`t know if both incidents are tied.

In other news- ISIS second in command has been killed during the raid in Syria, presumably by US special forces.

Haji Imam is the guy.
Not sure if it was a direct action with SOF ground guys or a bombing.
There were rumors he was killed in Mosque by an airstrike - but I think that is bullshit.
SOF may have gotten with some sort of a direct action raid.

That's the guy with a hat in the photos? Reports said US authorities had identified him. Good if true.

From what I understand he was killed by special operators.
And The Chechen is dead too. The guy who used to be Georgia special forces.

There's supposed to be a live press conference any minute I believe live on CNN.
They are supposed to give us more details.
CNN Live: http://www.janjua.tv/cnn5623

Hopefully they were able to get more intel to get the #1 guy in charge and #3.
That would be great.

So Najim Laachraoui (supposed to be the maker of the belts used in Zaventem) grew up in Belgium and went to a Catholic school.

Yeah, I think 99% of terrorists active in Europe are Europe born. It`s not that they coming in as a refuggies. They go to Syria , get training and returns. That`s why they have freedom of movement. That`s why that POS who was arrested in Turkey could request where he`s deported to. With the laws the way they are, it ties law enforcement hands.

If you ask me- it`s a very smart strategy. The key is to NOT send in US troops. It will create resentment , hate and so on and we will be back to square one. Let the region and common religion people sort it out.

I think that the western world, needs to get out of the middle east...those people have been fighting for centuries, and they'll keep fighting...let them kill each other. Provide food, water, medical aid...but stop shooting bullets and stop dropping bombs.

Apparently he was stopped on a remote road and surrounded by US spec ops. They gave him an option to surrender but he started shooting. They popped them all.

Sounds like they attempted a snatch & grab.
They probably wanted him alive for intel reasons - but that didnt work out.
I wonder which unit carried it out ,1st SFOD/CAG or I wonder if it was something JSOC put together (combined unit taskforce)?
I've been checking SOFRep to see if they've released anymore details -but haven't seen anything.

To get him there had to be VERY precise intel. Things are starting to roll.
