Hey does you bike have the inlayed graphics? Everyone who got their bikes early either got a leftover team bike or magazine bike with the graphics separate. I'm asking this cause I noticed yours didn't come with the swing arm decals or did it?

Not sure why some of those bikes came with the seperate graphics. There was one at the Atlanta Sx like that. They are molded in the plastic like normal

Yes there are there just late leaving the factory this year at least that's what I heard from a very reliable source

just to clarify decals are embedded, no numbers installed the numbers came in the goody bag with the air pump for forks No swing arm decal but did come with WP wrap for fork

It's so weird when some FEs comes with actual physical graphics and some with molded in graphics. My FE 450 came with physical graphics.

I wonder if it is the overseas versions as opposed to the US versions. Maybe all of the sponsors aren't the same or something. Just a thought.

I don't think so because i have seen both versions in US and EU.

When you guys are referencing embedded graphics is that on the shrouds and fender? So no need to work about pressure washing them off?

I do have to say that the KTM 450 FE 2016 is by far the easiest bike to handle in the air. Somehow even easier to throw nasty whips than my RM250 that i used to ride. The way i can throw it around in the air is very impressive. I can only imagine how the smaller new KTMs and Husqvarnas feel. The cornering is also amazing, the way it tracks in ruts is impressive.

Rode the bike today for the first time at southwick with the vortex ignition and the thing is amazing! I tried it back to back with the stock ecu and couldn't believe the difference with the vortex it completely transforms the bike

Sweet! So how does the 10 selectable maps work? Does it come preprogrammed for different exhaust types, fuel combos, etc?

What air pressure are you guys running in the forks? I broke mine in with the standard 156psi but haven't tried any other numbers yet. I weigh 185lbs and like the forks but feel like they are riding very high in the stroke without any sag. I was dragging front brake thru the turns to hold them down and get the front wheel to bite. Anyone have a similar feeling? Anyone tried other pressures and what are your thoughts. Before I start trying different settings would be good to know if anyone has already found a good direction to go in.

Drop the air pressure a little bit I was using a bar measurement so stock is 10.8 I went down to 10.4 sped up the rebound two clicks and a click softer on compression and it was pretty damn good. Rebound has a huge affect on compression and by going a little faster it helped huge. If I lowered the air pressure any more than that it didn't feel stable going through rough straights so you got to find the sweet spot. Also my friends friend took his out for the first time yesterday and his forks collapsed due to that o ring so I'm sure that's going to be a problem look out!

Yup, our buddy's new FE 450 with under 1 hr on it had his forks get stuck in the middle of the stroke yesterday. He's not very happy. We're all going to Wareham MX tomorrow and he's going to use my stock AER's while his are being repaired and I'm going to ride Kyle's FE with the new Vortex on it. Tokyo Mods did my stock ECU last wk and it barks now after sounding a little sluggish right off of an idle.

I was curious also on what pressures others are finding to work best. I converted the numbers from Bars to PSI. 10.8 = 156.6 and 10.4 = 150.8. I've gotta believe the dealerships will need to replace the O-rings under warranty. It sounds like it is worth having it done ASAP. Has anyone had theirs replaced with different O-rings? Have you had any issues since? I think I saw Motofinne had his done with no further issues. Is that true still motofinne?
