There are a few nice hotels within walking distance of the stadium, if you haven't booked anything yet. Also several restaurants within walking distance as well. You can actually see the lot from the holiday inn just west of the stadium, it's a short walk from there. Hope that helps some, Haven't done the pit experience at any supercross race, just nationals, sorry.

A two year old? Really? I get being excited to get your little guy up close and personal with the stars and the action, but you may be jumping the gun a bit. At this stage they still think cardboard boxes are pretty cool and standing in lines is not.

Anyway- the lines at the pit party for the big names are always reediculous. Try and find out when and where the teams are making appearances at local dealerships. They almost always do this on Friday night. The lines are long there too, but nothing like Saturday.

Have fun.

The strip club across from the stadium is basically never open.

Took my 3 yr old last year, he's looking forward to going back again this year. Didn't do any autograph lines but he enjoyed walking around the pits and seeing the bikes and trucks. He also told Nick Wey to put his helmet on when he was getting ready to go out for the parade lap before the race. Nick was cool and interacted a bit with him which my son thought was awesome. I agree with the other posters, for a 2 yr old it may be a bit much waiting for autographs but they had a lot of older display bikes last year to get pictures on. Either way have fun and enjoy a nice father/son weekend! I know we did and will again.
