Hello Everyone!
My name is Taylor Kellstrom. For some of you that may know me or my dad Dana we have always been involved with the races and at 19 I gave up racing to pursue a career and start my own business. I still ride often and still very connected to the sport. Last year I had the opportunity to take my two friends Kyle Cunningham and Kyle Peters to the Children's Hospital of LA to sign autographs and hang out with the kids. I was a patient there from a racing accident when I was 10 and every year I host an annual bowling event for them out in Santa Clarita. The Children's Hospital is a big part of why I am still here today and is an organization very close to my heart.
Funny story is the Magazine of Santa Clarita and the City of Santa Clarita had asked me to participate in an event called "SCV Dancing with our Stars. Yes, just like the TV show and yes I have no idea how to dance but the cool part is every "celebrity" dancer is doing it for a non profit. When people vote for that dancer it costs $25 a vote but 100% of the money goes to the non profit of choice. The voting has started already and people can vote as many times as they want. Basically, you don't have to even dance well but who ever raises the most money for their organization wins. After talking with the hospital and some of the kids there we thought it would be awesome to reach out to the MX community.
Motocross is more than a sport. It brings families and people together. The best times of my life have always been with my family and friends traveling the country racing. I just wanted to reach out to you guys and see if we can all together make a difference for these kids who battle every day for their lives. The compete event info is below . If any of you would like to vote the links are below or know of any motocross companies interested in getting this out there or helping out my email is below as well. Thank you guys so much for your time!
oh and Kristy Swanson is one of the judges... thought some of you would find that cool.

Event Information:
This event is hosted by The Magazine of Santa Clarita and takes places on August 28th. It is similar to the famous TV show but with a twist. Each celebrity dancer (Taylor Kellstrom) will be representing their favorite non profit (Children's Hospital of Los Angeles). Prior to the event and at the event people can vote for their favorite dancer/non profit for $25 a vote. 100% of that vote money goes to the non profit that the dancer is representing. The dancing duos will be judged and guests will have the opportunity to cast money votes using script. Vote by purchasing script for the dancer and the non-profit organization of your choice. For those who cannot attend, you can pledge money by proxy votes through Taylor Kellstrom's website, prior to the event or during the event to support your dancing star. At the end of the night, the script money, judges’ votes and proxy votes will be added up and a winner will be determined. Second and third place dancing pairs will also win awards. Any money raised from the profit of the ticket sales and sponsorships will be divided amongst the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.
