Hey guys I want to paint my new white tech 7s. However I do not know what paint is better. Should I use Krylon or Plasti Dip? Thanks

I seen one of my buddies on Facebook post the boots he custom painted. He said plasti dip but someone else said Krylon would be better

Find some auto interior paint. It's flexible vinyl.

Plastidip will peel off really quick. Krylon would stick better but there probably isn't a paint out there that will hold up to MX abuse. I'd also let them fully cure for 30 days before wearing them. Cygnus probably has the best approach for painting the boots.

Here are some boots that have been painted before and were originally white tech 10's.

The boots were sanded, sprayed with primer, painted with orange Painter's Touch Paint as a base coat, clear coated and then buffed to a nice shine. The clear coat on the boots is really what protects the boots. And the primer is more like an adhesive to help the paint stick.

Good luck, its a very long process for the result.

The paint on the boots should last a good little while but like everything, eventually you will start to see wear.
