FYI, there are roughly 30 - 35 gun related deaths a day in the United States... completely different animal when compared to a guy getting ejected from a jump.

I am late to this, but on Friday I watched Kylie Fasnacht, an incredibly talented girl on a 250F, do the quad three times with ease...

The Rock wrote, "Broc texted me yesterday in response to my question of WTH happened? It was a new set of OEM bars (I'm assuming it came with the grip mounted) and Broc said no one though to safety wire it."

One very qualified professional rider crashed on what I believe was a well-built new obstacle with plenty of run-off and landing space. He had very bad luck in either a cross-rut on takeoff and/or grip-fail or both, but at the end of the day, I believe it was a very good, safe motocross track with great feedback from every racer I spoke to. We can't insulate every track from every possible situation, including this quandry: Big/Easy Jump + Natural Speed-minus-Grip and/or Foot on Peg-multiplied by-veolcity, with the addition of Gravity and the Physics of Sudden, Unexpected De-Accelartion-versus-Terra Firma (that eternal winner).

In other words, it was a crash in a motocross race. Hope and Pray and Glad Broc is okay, but that jump was not the culprit, just the scene. Ask Garth Milan about the scene he was at when he ended up in the hospital. Motocross ain't easy at any level, and we all know that.

Sorry, back on vacation, please solve all of this and let me know by Tuesday how to proceed.

And not to get off topic, but over half of those gun related deaths are suicides of which one can assume if they didn't have a gun they would find some other means to take their own life (death is death regardless of means). Aside from that, roughly 28 deaths a day occur from drunk drivers. Maybe that should be illegal.....wait I think it is. Maybe they should just ban cars.....And lastly, roughly 3000 living but unborn children die daily due to abortions in the US but everybody sweeps that under the rug. Point being in all this, personal accountability has pretty much taken a shit over the last ~4-5 decades (ever since the mid 60s) and it gets worse every day. Stop blaming inanimate objects and start holding people accountable for their actions.

As for the Broc getting ejected. I hope he fully recovers soon to get back to riding. Back on topic.

THAT JUMP WAS FINE
brocs foot came off pegs he held on for dear life
bike cart wheeled bars stuck in ground clutch side bent the Heck out of them and cracked the frame

Highly unlikely the grip caused crash, looked like he twisted it off in mid flight while hanging on up side down or when the bike hit the ground on that side.

We are very happy Broc is okay and look forward to his return .

Prior to Broc's crash he organized a moto camp at a local PA track Breezewood Proving Grounds. Which is an awesome facility btw. It has Cabins for rent water and Electrical hook ups a big man made pond which has a high dive, diving board and a big waterslide and an Advanced, intermediate, and kids track with trails coming soon!

Well with all injuries sustained Broc held true to his word and his conducting the MX camp this week

This photo is just Broc being Broc the funny guy that he is holding the 30 second board for the gate drop
