My neighbor went on a mission to shut these types down after her son died from pill milling. Pain mgmnt clinics would write free prescriptions and office visits if you would bring in a referral. College kids going by the carload from one clinic to the next then one pharmacy to the next. Prescriptions maxed out on all kinds of pain killers. People were dropping like flies for years around here a decade ago.

All these people do that are "fighting the war on drugs" is cause people with legitimate medical reasons for these prescriptions an added hassle and also make it so doctors won't prescribe anything out of fear of getting in trouble. They recently sent a friend home after a hip replacement with nothing but tramadol because the doctor refused to triple script a narcotic.

I have known a few people go down that road and end up losing the battle , i have known a few others that i honestly had written off as already dead but managed to kick the pill habit. One guy i knew was selling his monthly allowance for so much that he was paying for a H2 and the insurance. Eventually his doctor drug tested him a saw he wasn't even using them and stopped writing scripts to him. They are a nasty drug, i already informed my 16 year old brother in law ,who i know smokes pot, if he messes with pills i will kick the shit out of him ,and not the kind of friendly beat down that he gets from me when we are messing around.
