Anyone out there have a ride report on 15 KTM FE 250?

Is the motor more user friendly or all top-end power?

Suspension?

Handling?

Thanks!

You can try this topic http://www.vitalmx.com/forums/Moto-Related,20/2015-5-KTM-Factory-Edition-Feedback,1283909 haven't read through it yet, but it has 9 pages. Should be some ride reports in there.
Thanks!

I read through it but most of the discussion is about the 450.

Ah, I'm sure there's someone here who has ridden the 250.

Hey guys, I posted in the other thread but yes I have the 250FE. About 10 hours on it.

Amazing improvements from the old bike. I had 2 2012 250sxf over the last 3 years. Night and day difference.

The motor has more bottom end for sure, but still screams when you rev it out. Way more power overall compaired to the old bike.

I really like the suspension to be honest. My last bike I had the whole kitchen sink thrown in my suspension by Factory Connection and it made it really nice. But this new bike feels great stock, I'm very impressed. It's Deffinitly stiff on the forks initially but I'm still trying to decide what would improve them. I weight 155-160lbs and 5,9.

Handling wise it's the best bike I ever rode out of the box. Carves like a snowboard on powder, honestly. I was lucky enough to try the bike while shooting the VitalMX first impressions video with Michael Lindsy. Before I finished my first lap I was convinced I needed the bike. 3 weeks later I picked one up from the dealer...

Feel free to hit me up with more questions...

Overall, it's a massive step in every way over the Honda and Suzuki 250F.

Laughing That would take some more in-depth sentences that I really didn't feel like typing at that hour.

Nope, the Yamaha and Kawasaki have some positives, so that's why I didn't go in-depth. I brought up Red and Yellow because I don't have a positive with them that outweighs the positives on the new KTM.
