I was thinking of that scene in Planes Trains and Automobiles too. "You're going the wrong way!" Smile

Lol No, but that's one reason why I quit sleeping over the steering wheel, at night. Woke up one night over 30 years ago, in the old 76 in Lexington Ky, I think, and hammered the brake pedal RIGHT to the floor, two handed death grip on the wheel. I was 5 feet off some guys ass, thought I was going to rear end him at 60mph. Turns out, I was parked in EXACTLY the same spot for the last 5 hours, right behind the same guy. Lol Night time, every body idling, with their lights on. My heart was 4 feet in front of my chest. Oopsie.

Ok I've never slept behind the wheel other than gettin loaded .. unloaded but yep .... I have sleep issues that have caused more than one uncomfortable moment. Needless to say I always find the most distant place to park. Nobody needs to hear "get to the CHOPPER !!!" at full holler. Dreams are fun ...... right? Blush

Is that the same HWY where if conditions are right the nearby factory puts off a fog condition that covers the HWY and has contributed to multiple deaths thru the years?......Because it lies in a low laying area were if there is no wind, sun rain.ect... the fog lies there.

Maybe that was in Tenn?

No, that's down in Tennessee, and I've been through it, but I can't remember for sure where. I-40 maybe, west of Nashville, I believe it's a paper mill real close to the highway. The company realized it was a problem, and did their best to keep the cause of the fog secret, because of the liabilities involved. There had been quite a few nasty wrecks down through there, and finally TennDot stepped up, and put in a bunch of safety measures. to deal with the fog settling in. Same old shit. "Let's not take a chance on our profits going down, let's conceal the problem, and let people continue to die."

Last summer I drove a dumptruck for a paving operation. Last job of the season was at night on the Island in October. On the last night I wore a Jason (Fri 13th) mask. Totally killed.
