Wtb 98-99 cr125 powervalve assy for a HPP cylinder. Must be 98 or newer because they changed the design of them in 98.

I bought a 92 HPP for my project. Wonder what they changed between 92 and 98?

Porting configurations. 92-95 and 96-99. If you look up cylinder sleeves it will give you the break down on years. 92 -95 earlier hit much better power range. 98-99 fast mid to top. I prefer 92-95

99 was supposed to be the best year of powervalves and 95 the best cylinder porting. Probably all depends on the rider any way. Avg joe can tell the diff in a 92-99, but will see a noticably diff vs the 00-02 cylinder for sure.

I was going to use my 97 cylinder. I wanted the newer HPP because they seal better. Thanks for the correction I need 98-99 hpp valves
