Is Vegas giving out points to 250 SX?

Title says it all, is Vegas counting for the East/West Championship? Or have they gone back to the old format where it's West heat/East heat, then the E/W Shootout.

Thanks. I read on here it went back to the old format but didn't know if it for sure going back, I don't think they announced it anywhere?
