"The Most Fun Race Of The Year", that is what many people call the Bel Ray Pro Motocross Dealers Challenge at 3 Palms near Houston. Motocross is an individual sport, but once a year riders can be part of a 4 rider team. You don't have to be on a team to race but it adds another element to the days event.
4 riders make a team and there are 4 different category of teams. Listed below are the team categories.
Franchise Dealer Teams - Motorcycle dealerships that sell new motorcycles.
Apparel Teams - Companies that make apparel.
MX Track & Trainers - Motocross tracks and motocross trainers.
Open - Any other company or group of 4 riders.
Team Rules
-Riders earn points for their team based on what place they finish in each moto of their individual class.
-A team consist of 4 riders.
-A team can have a 5th rider listed as an alternate, however only the best 4 scores will be counted.
-Riders can be on one team per category. Example - A rider can be on a Franchise team and on a MX Track & Trainers Team. Riders cannot be on more that one team per category.
-Team entry is $40.
-Team sheets must be signed be the team manager and turned in before the races start.
-Payout out for the top 3 teams in each category ...
1st = $500
2nd = $300
3rd = $100
All the normal classes will be offered from Pee Wee's to Pro's. Speaking of pro's, they will have the opportunity of racing for a $25,000 max pro purse. This will bring out pro's from all over the country!
This years race will offer a "Super 3 Palms Track". The Main Track and the River Track will be combined together to make one "Super 3 Palms Track". Organized practice will offered on Saturday December 6th.
After the races are over there will be a huge awards ceremony on the 3 Palms podium for individual classes and teams. In addition to awards for the top 5 in every class, there will be thousands of dollars worth of contingencies handed out to the top 5 also.

Gates open: 6AM
Riders Meeting: 7:30AM
Practice: 8AM
Racing approximately: 9AM
Class entry fee: $40
