They could have all done REALLY well, but they were held back by injuries. I Smile think the new crops of Scandi riders need to learn how to crash - cause injuries is what holds us back at times, you know?

Scandinavian riders are a little of the map speedwise right now..maybe Finland is getting better but sweden lacks of talent..except for the swedish guys riding in america right now prep for the nationals!!

Yeah, Finland is doing really well! I´ve been cheering for them the last few years. The only problem is I think a few of the top talents could have done better. Like Kennth Gundersen. I haven´t had much faith in Scandinavian MX the last few years, but Kenneth was doing really well for us, and I figured he would do well in the long term, but like many of our riders he suffered too many injuries to accomplish a championship. Too bad really, because the guy was faster than his teammates both on Champ KTM and on Jan De Groot. He just suffered too many injuries. THe guy got a 2nd or 3rd at his "home" GP riding injured, you know? Same thing with Brian Jørgensen - he was fast as hell but unfortunately he was riding constantly injured

Right now i think the biggest problem is the huge amount of money needed to get involved in the Gp series..

U going to the GP at Uddevalla? I´ve been attending since 03!
We have a "national team", going to SoCal for 4 months each year. I think it might do some good in the future, but right now the kids are just too young to produce any results. I actually introduced the idea of going the US as opposed to Spain, back in 2001. I was laughed at by some the people in the Norwegian Motorcycle Federation. Today, they are sending roughly 10 guys to SoCal each year as opposed to Spain during winter. I won´t call entirely it my own idea, but I´m kind of getting the feeling "told you so" Laughing I was flamed at he time, but soon they figured out: "why go to Europe, if the best riders are in the US?!?" Go figure! Dizzy

Kind of weird never been to Uddevalla but all MXDN since 2005 ...maybe this year will be the first i´ll hope so

Hi. You know anything about Roy Snellingens usa career? Ive trained with him the last years. But he wont talk about that. Only thing i know is that he broke his neck in the whoops. And never got back at the same level after that. What year did he try sx ?
