37 years ago I got my first trophy at Dog River Motocross in Georgia. Any body else ever raced the Dog River MX. I think it closed around 1978.

Neat, thanks ! What were you riding ?
I was riding a 1976 RM 100B ? It had a metal tank and an up pipe. I will always remember I was on the start line for moto 2 when Liles Sr, owner of a Yamaha dealership, reminded me that little Billy was gona take it to me riding a new 1978 stock YZ and would sell me another for a good price.

haha, I remember my first and only race in '80 in junior 125 and some guys were playing head games. I'd just wave at them and smile. So, funny it's just sport man. Hey good for you on the RM100, it's the rider not the bike ! I had a '79 YZ125 and the rear suspension was horrible in the rough. The E was somewhat better though. The math puts you in your early fifties also ?

Hay ,some guy named Joe Rodgers with the number 245 called me up a few times. We went and practiced some in Kennesaw Ga. The city passed that everyone must have a gun law and made our practice track into a shooting range.

Yes I am 53, I first started racing in the 125 class in 1974. Back then there were only two 125 classes. You raced the pro class or the trophy class. I did most of my waving and smiling standing behind my Dad though.

Hay Joe Rodgers. Getting to practice moto with a pro racer was the coolest thing. I really appreciate it. I always wondered what do you guys do with all those trophy, awards, ect.
