Hey guys, I just bought a used 2003 kx125. The bike is in decent shape, but I am having trouble getting the bike into neutral. When I do manage to it into neutral its going from 2nd down. Instead of 1st then up into neutral. I was also having a little oil seeping out of the clutch cover. As I was removing the cover to replace the gasket I noticed grooves on the bottum of the clutch cover from the clutch pressure plate scrapping against it. I also noticed the shifter has scrapped against the left side cover. I'm not too familiar with the inner workings of a dirtbike, and was hoping someone here could give me some suggestions on what to look for to try and fix this.

If it is when your bike is running, the clutch would be likely. Bad basket might make stuck a little. I

Its the same with the bike running and not running.

If it's the same running or not, then it's probably a combination of the clutch basket and the shift drum cam having rounded edges on it. Make sure the shifter is no longer contacting the case and that the clutch basket isn't somehow touching the inside of the case.
