I have a 2003 KX 250 and after time it will sometimes have very light rust on it. What would be good to clean it with? Fine/light grit sand paper? Any suggestions...

SOS pad and or scotch brite and wd 40 work well to clean, then spray some wd40 on it after to prevent rusting. any thin lube will prevent it, jigaloo all that stuff lol

Green scotch brite pad and some sort of oil after I.e. Maxima mppl, wd-40, light coat of transmission oil...

what everybody else said pretty much, red scotchbrite and wd40, then a light coat of wd40 after wash. When you get tired of that, bead blast it and paint it. heat paint in a rattle can works great if you blast it first.

using some scotch brite or sand paper and wd40 works grate
