So, all three victims were armed. So much for NRA`s 'The Only Thing That Stops a Bad Guy With a Gun Is a Good Guy With a Gun' bullshit.

Bullshit? The cops were obvious targets and easy ones at that being ambushed in a restaurant, so weak shit from you there. The other vic? I read somewhere that they were carrying concealed and actually wounded the female when confronted. That may have been the shot that brought the end to all the carnage.

Also read where they were posting internet rants about killing people back in 2011 yet no one concerned themselves with any of that. Even the Clive Bundy supporters were smart enough to send them packing writing them off as nutjobs. I'll bet there were some NRA members and Teabaggers involved in that decision. The killers neighbors turned a blind eye the other day when they were ranting about going on a killing spree. Lots of warnings, zero action.

I believe you are correct. If that 3rd victim had not slowed them up, "possibly/probably" more people would have been killed. They didn't show up at Wallyworld to buy people flowers, they were on a mission.

CCW holder never got off a shot, female came around behind him and shot him too.. Bundy kicked them out for being felons in possession. They told a neighbor on the way out the door with a shopping cart full of weapons that they were going to kill cops and would be killed themselves. Neighbor didn't bother to call anyone.

Two gun holders attempted to intervene, including one of the cops who did manage to hit the male before he died. More guns in Wal-Mart would have meant more dead people, not less.

Gun fights are nothing new....
The good guys win sometimes & so does the bad guy.
Element of surprise side always has the advantage (in this case the officers were ambushed).
The only way to react swiftly in a situation like this is lots of practice/training.
Unfortunately there is no standard for Police in general in regards to their training/instinct.
Each department is different - same with each departments SWAT teams/Snipers/Entry Teams ect..
I truly wish all departments would adapt a grueling selection process - just as top tier SOF units have these days.
It would give them a better fighting chance. I hate it when we lose an officer in this country to any kind of senseless violence.

Treat assessment 24/7 is just as critical as round placement & speed.
Remember that armed/not armed in public assessment video my buddy made of a class he was teaching that I privately shared with you a while back? That stuff is accurate on the defense & on the offense. It's just very beginner stuff and barely dips into it.The stuff gets far more advanced....
CQB(gun fights close range/urban) is sorta like boxing/fighting as I've said on here before. You have to almost know what the other is going to do,or see it coming and react swiftly. "And just because you got shot ,doesn't always mean you cant still stand & fight and give it %100." Those are words I had a instructor scream in my face years ago. I'll never forget them.
Knowing where cover or concealment is at with every move is also important.
There's even so much more to it.
A lot more then just a good guy with a gun. LOL

But even with the best training in the world...when it comes to gun fights, you can still end up on the losing side/dead.
Just as a lot of SOF Vets would say......when asked how are they still alive? A lot of them answer with one word "luck".
So the good guy can also get lucky sometimes.

Almost every one of these cowards kill themselves at the first inkling of armed opposition...whether its police or civilian. They aren't there to get in a gun fight, they are there to kill people and as soon as someone-anyone-shoots back, OR they see/hear the police they kill themselves.

That is why so few of these people are actually killed by either the police or a civilian with a gun...as soon as shots are fired AT THEM they kill themselves.

The one exception is the Trolly Square shooting in SLC about 5 or 10 years ago...an off duty cop engaged the shooter, and got in a shoot out with him, then police arrived and finally killed the shooter...that is the only one that comes to mind (and I could be wrong, I don't study up on these things) where the shooters didn't kill themselves at the first sign of resistance (from columbine...to Virginia Tech...to the Connecticut school shooting...to these wacko's...they all turn their guns on themselves as soon as police arrived or the police were about to engage them).

I have a CCW, and I never carry a gun because 1) I don't feel the need to and 2) I'm honestly not sure I want the added responsibility that comes with carrying a weapon. So I'm not one that thinks EVERY person carrying a gun would solve this issue...but I do believe that guns stop crazy people with guns. (And there are examples of people stopping crazy people with guns, without guns-but its way more risky: The guy with mase at the Seattle college, a couple kids tackled an active shooter-Kip Kinkle-at Thurston High in Springfield, OR-outside of Eugene-and stopped him).

Anyway, I don't think more guns would have meant more dead people in that Walmart...I just think resistance to these active shooters saves lives.

Did you all even see the point of my post? The guy left a nazi flag on one of the cops, but he gloats about calling a judge a nazi and shares a pic of MLK that makes a point of the nazis being bad.

But what was the message he was trying to send with the Nazi flag? I can see where it could have 2 completely different meanings and you might be assuming a different meaning that what they were intending.
