Best of Texas Update: Rd 2 this w/e at Whitney, Swan MX set for Oct.

This weekend will mark the 2nd, not 3rd, round of the Best of Texas Series. This 2nd round will be held this weekend at the all new Lake Whitney MX Park.

Check back this weekend to www.AmateurMX.com race and for track video from Lake Whitney's round of the Best of Texas Series. Round 2 was originally slated for Swan MX, however due to rain, they rescheduled Swan MX on October 18 &19, 2008, one week from the series finale at Oakhill.

I can say the McWilliams family has made several changes to the track. I am not sure of all the changes, but I know some where made. Sure wish we could have made the trip with them this weekend. However, I am staying here to help run the race at Monster Mountain this weekend for the McWilliams family. We cannot wait for the warm-up race in February and then the Spring Classic in March. We wish everyone good luck that will be at Lake Whitney this weekend.
