Ok so i have been around dirt bikes since i was 4 and have worked my way up past the different sizes starting at a pw50 up to a cr 250. But havent owned or ridden a bike in about 3 years i want to get back into riding and maybe start racing at the local tracks but my problem is i dont know which pick to pick. Ive ridden a 04 honda 450 and loved the power. I defiantly do not want a two stroke i just dont feel comfortable on one. If i get brand new which i doubt will happend lol i want either the kawi 450 or the Suzuki 450. But then i think about it and i lean towards a 250f since i havent ridden in a while but I'm not sure. Im a bigger dude im 6'3 250 lbs and i think that the 250 would give me the power i need

Some guys have been liking the Ktm 350 sxf. It's got more power than a 250 and lighter then a 450...

All the major manufacturers bikes are great! Basically, pick which colour you like best Tongue
I'd get a 450 personally. Regardless of how long it has been since you've been riding, the bike will only go as fast as you twist the throttle. I'm a little weary of used 250's. I remember reading a quote from Larry Brooks (I think); "A 250F is like a tropical fish. You never know what you're gonna get" Laughing
